Grand Manan, New Brunswick
 
My first visit to this picturesque island off the coast of New Brunswick found us traveling through typically dense fog and light rain for most of the morning. As our ferry approached land, the fog suddenly separated as if on cue to reveal the softly-framed Swallowtail Lighthouse in the distance.
