Observing (and photographing) wild animals in their natural habitat is an experience unlike any other, and difficult to put into words. There's something primal about witnessing wildlife that only a small percentage of the human population will ever get a chance to see, mixed with the adrenaline/fear that this animal could cause you extreme bodily harm if it chose to...something you just can't appreciate at a zoo.
