Surface ice slowly recedes in the early spring sunshine,  providing excellent mountain reflections in the crystal clear water. Pollen spores and algae growth as the lake warms will eventually cloud the water, and obscure the colourful array of pebbles in the shallows, making this a limited-time seasonal view.
