Vancouver Island
The last of ancient giants.
Cathedral Grove on Vancouver Island features a magnificent display of the largest Douglas Fir on earth, some of the tallest trees in the world. These rare and endangered fir have been known to grow up to 400 ft. (currently the tallest still in existence reach just over 250 ft.) and live for over 800 years.
It's difficult not to feel spiritual (and insignificant) walking among these towering relics.
Available as a signed and numbered photo print (limited edition of 99),
